On April 26th, Topso's Hydroflex™ bio-aviation coal production technology landed in China for the first time.The company and Guangxi Hongkun Biomass Fuel Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Guangxi Hongkun Energy Co., Ltd., signed a cooperation agreement on the 600,000 tons/year bio-aviation coal project (Phase I) 300,000 tons/year bio-aviation coal hydrogenation plant process package catalyst in Nanning.
According to the agreement, the first phase of the project will use the Topso Hydroflex™ production process to process 300,000 tons of kitchen waste grease per year to produce sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) and biodiesel (HVO).Topso will provide technical licensing, process package design, technical services and catalysts for the device. The project will start construction in May 2024 and is expected to be put into operation in early 2026.

At present, it has authorized the transfer of more than 60 sets of devices worldwide.
Yang Junjun said that the low-carbon and high-quality development of China's aviation industry in the future
will require the support of technology, policies and regulations, and the joint efforts of all parties. Topso hopes to explore the road of low-carbon and high-quality development with more companies like Guangxi Hongkun.
It is reported that the signing ceremony was held during the visit of Thomas Ø strup Mø ller, the Danish ambassador to China, and Li Shousheng, president of the China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, to Guangxi. Lantian Li, deputy secretary of the Party Committee of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and Chairman of the Autonomous Region, cordially met with Ma Lei and his party and President Li Shousheng. Ma Lei, Li Shousheng, the Management Committee of the Qinzhou Port Area of the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone and relevant leaders of Sinopec Guangzhou Engineering Co., Ltd. attended and witnessed the signing.

This cooperation is also another important milestone for China and Denmark to jointly promote the goal of low-carbon development.Guangxi's rich resources in green energy and biomass, as well as the unique geographical location of Qinzhou Port, have brought great opportunities for the development of Qinzhou and Guangxi Hongkun.
Li Shousheng emphasized that the Petrochemical Federation has always paid great attention to the green and low-carbon transformation and high-quality development of the entire chemical industry. Topso's advanced bio-aviation coal technology is a unique low-carbon solution in the industrial chain, and its application in Guangxi has set a model for the development of the industry.
During the signing period, Topso and Guangxi Hongkun Energy Co., Ltd. also signed a memorandum of strategic cooperation on the production of biofuels from green methanol, green ammonia and biomass solid waste.
